The reconciliation of the House and Senate versions of National Defense Authorization Act will involve some challenges, including scheduling difficulties for the committee chairs and ranking members. Meanwhile, industry groups, including federal contractor and technology associations, have been sending their feedback on issues at the center of cybersecurity policy. Most recently, a coalition of major business groups representing critical infrastructure sectors urged lawmakers to approve language that would require the intelligence community to dedicate more resources to protecting strategic assets. That language was included in the House Intelligence Authorization Act, which has been incorporated into the House version of the NDAA.
