Sixty percent of all cybersecurity claims to cyber insurers last year were for business email compromises or fraudulent fund transfers, while ransomware claims were about 20% of the total but for heavier losses. Keep in mind that fund transfers from Europe and US-based home offices to local organizations make the aid industry a prime target for cybercriminals.
