The Contract Claims & Disputes Resolution Committee’s May 2023 meeting will focus on cost claims in Government contracts disputes. Government contract cost claims present unique and challenging issues for contractors and agencies alike. In the last year, there have been various developments in the law governing cost disputes. Courts and the Boards of Contract Appeals have issued decisions involving cost accounting issues and the statute of limitations under the Contract Disputes Act, the need for contractor records (e.g. timecards) to establish cost reasonableness, and cost recovery principles following terminations for convenience, among other issues. Please join us for a panel discussion regarding recent cost claim developments and practical tips for contractors and agencies. Lunch will be available for $10 per person.
