Please join the ABA PCLS Commercial Products & Services Committee on January 13, 2022 for a joint meeting with the Accounting, Cost and Pricing Committee to discuss the FY 2022 National Defense Authorization Act. As is typically the case, the FY 2022 NDAA included a broad range of provisions that will impact the federal procurement community, including continued scrutiny on the supply chain, additional domestic sourcing requirements, expanded authority to procure commercial technologies using non-traditional contracting vehicles, and modifications to cost or pricing data requirements and the use of cost-type contracts. We welcome Mr. Jeffrey Bozman, Mr. Ian Bennitt, Ms. Karen Thornton, and Mr. Kyle Noyes, who all serve as counsel to the House Armed Services Committee for the majority or minority staff. Fresh off passing the FY 2022 NDAA, Mr. Bozman, Mr. Bennitt, Ms. Thornton, and Mr. Noyes will share their perspectives on the current commercial item contracting environment and the outlook for acquisition and business policy issues for the Defense Department and its contractors in 2022 and beyond.
