This meeting will feature Matthias M. Edrich, Vice-Chair of the ABA Section of Taxation Tax Exempt Financing Committee, who will discuss infrastructure financing options that will be an important part of the administration’s infrastructure plan. Topics will include the expanded role of private activity bonds, the greater use of infrastructure banks, and possible legislation to promote general obligation and revenue bonds in various forms beyond what state and local governments traditionally use. All of these financing vehicles will interplay with federal grants as well as third party financing.
