The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) now has a full slate of Commissioners and it is expected to ramp up privacy and cybersecurity enforcement and rulemaking in a number of critical areas. Join us for a discussion of the FTC’s evolving approach on a range of privacy and data security issues, including children’s privacy, targeted advertising restrictions, use of biometric and health data, and potential data use limitations. We’ll also discuss how the FTC may approach a privacy rulemaking and how companies can best anticipate and plan for developing regulatory expectations.
