On March 2nd, the National Cyber Strategy was released – a plan that is ambitious, represents an inflection point from past strategies, and is one that reaches beyond Government Departments and Agencies. The strategy lays out initiatives where data stewards are held accountable for data protection, federal IT systems become modernized, and Zero Trust is further implemented.
While there are challenges of this plan, including funding and the contention that comes with intergovernmental collaboration, the ideas laid out within the strategy will spur an essential level of progress.
This webinar will cover:
- A basic overview of the strategy
- Who this impacts, how, and why
- Compliance to be met
- Implications on public and private sector
- Next steps and advice
