Miles & Stockbridge seeks an associate attorney with 4 - 7 years of government contracts experience, preferably in a private law firm practice or a mix of in-house and private law firm experience, to join the firm’s 2021 Chambers Nationally Top-Ranked Government Contract Team in either their Washington, DC, Tysons, VA, Rockville, MD or Baltimore, MD offices.
Candidate will support a combination of practices in the team including: Bid Protests, REAs and Claims, Small Business and Data Rights, M&A Due Diligence, and False Claims work. Ideal Candidate should have relevant experience including: working knowledge of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s socioeconomic government contracting programs, including the small business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, 8(a) Business Development, and HUBZone programs; experience prosecuting and defending bid protests before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and GAO, as well as appeals before SBA's Office of Hearings and Appeals; experience supporting procurement fraud investigations and related litigation; and general counseling on government contracts-related business and regulatory issues.
