Global defense technology company seeks to hire a government contracts lawyer with 5-8 years’ experience to advise senior management and business partners on U.S. and international government, commercial, and supply chain contracts. This newly created position will support one of the company’s largest and most innovative business division with revenues of $7B+ and 23,000 employees globally. A unique feature of this position is the ability to serve as an operations counsel for several business groups within the division. Requirements: 5+ years of AmLaw 200 firm experience (coupled with current in-house or prior Government experience) advising on the FAR, DFARS, federal procurement statutes and regulations, and bid protest jurisprudence. The ideal candidate would also possess expertise drafting and negotiating government, commercial and international contracts. The ability to respond to a range of legal issues that arise from diverse business activities is required, as is the ability to work collaboratively and build internal relationships.
Appeal: This opportunity will allow you to build upon existing government contracts expertise while expanding your substantive knowledge in related disciplines. Further your professional training in an environment of continuous learning and development, and with a company who regards its lawyers as true “business partners.” Our client continues to enjoy record growth in revenue and is recognized for its leadership in diversity initiatives. Finally, this division is conveniently based in Tysons Corner, VA. **Join a company committed to promoting from within and to retaining its best talent. Find your permanent professional home.
