President Trump has issued another executive order targeting a law firm. This time around it’s Jenner & Block. In an order issued on March 25, 2025—Addressing Risks from Jenner & Block—Trump states that the firm “has abandoned the profession’s highest ideals, condoned partisan “lawfare,” and abused its pro bono practice to engage in activities that undermine justice and the interests of the United States.” The order directs agencies to suspend Jenner & Block’s security clearances and to terminate contracts on which “Jenner has been hired to perform any service.”
