Many contractors are accepting contract modifications that will bring them into compliance with acquisition rules in Part B of Section 889 of the 2019 NDAA, reports the General Services Administration. By the end of August, 81 percent of more than 10,000 Multiple Award Schedule contract holders had accepted the the supply chain protection modifications. GSA sent the thousands of contractors compliance modifications that had to be incorporated into their contracts for them to remain eligible for federal opportunities.
