A former Airbus employee is suing AIRBUS U.S. Space & Defense under the False Claims Act, alleging he witnessed fraud while on the job. According to the relator, while he was employed by AIRBUS to manage contracts with the federal government, he learned that the company submitted false and fraudulent claims. Although he reported his concerns, they were ignored. According to the complaint, when AIRBUS learned the relator was preserving evidence of the alleged fraud, he was harassed on the job and his employment was constructively terminated. In January 2019, AIRBUS reported the relator to the FBI, which raided his house and seized his personal drive and laptop.
