A fact sheet from the White House describes several ways the proposed American Jobs Plan would build on its recent cybersecurity executive order and support U.S. cybersecurity. According to the administration, the plan would:

  • Make $20 billion in energy infrastructure investments for state, local, and tribal governments contingent on cyber modernization
  • Promote a secure network with a $100 billion broadband investment
  • Create a new tax credit for transmission infrastructure that will help finance cyber technologies for the electric grid
