White House Guidance on Implementing NSPM-33: Standardization of Disclosure and Security Measures for Federal Research Funding

The White House Office of Science and Technology recently released guidance implementing National Security Presidential Memorandum 33, which requires federal agencies that fund research to strengthen their disclosure requirements for awards, and to look into recipients’ security measures. The guidance includes detailed disclosure and security requirements, which will impact any researcher and research institution applying for federal funding of scientific research.
