Cybersecurity Advisory on Russian Cyber Actors Targeting U.S. Contractors

Earlier this week, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation and National Security Agency released a joint cybersecurity advisory providing details about Russian state-sponsored hackers targeting the defense industrial base. Specifically, bad actors sought to infiltrate cleared defense contractors, seeking sensitive unclassified information, as well as proprietary and export-controlled technology.
