Earlier this year the Securities and Exchange Commission published proposed rule “The Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors,” This a proposed rule is meant to “facilitate the disclosure of consistent, comparable, and reliable information on climate-related financial risk” And now, the FAR Council has been directed to layer on additional requirements on government contractors.
In the next meeting we will call out highlights of the proposed Federal Supplier Climate Risks and Resilience Rule.
