For contractors and subcontractors providing certain services to the federal government, compliance with the Service Contract Act (or Service Contract Labor Standards) is required. Unique bidding and performance requirements on SCA contracts can lead to frustrating outcomes. Non-compliance can trigger an investigation by the Department of Labor, the consequences of which may include financial penalties and back wages, withholding of contract funds, and debarment from future contracts.
To help contractors successfully bid on and comply with SCA contracts, PilieroMazza’s Labor & Employment Group is offering a series of three training sessions covering key components of the SCA, as well as practical applications to take back to your company. The total cost for all three virtual sessions is $1,500 per individual. Please visit this link to register. Once registered, you will be redirected to the payment page. In addition to the attendee’s name, company, and email address, please add “LNE SCA Training” in the “Invoice Number (Required)” field. If payment is not received by October 21, 2024, your registration will be canceled. Please contact Kaylie Flagg at kflagg@pilieromazza.com with any questions.
Training includes three, two-hour sessions, each presented separately on October 22, 23, and 24, 2024, from 2:00 PM ET – 4:00 PM ET
