NGO General Counsel Jeremiah Centrella Joins Nichols Liu

Nichols Liu LLP announced today that Jeremiah Centrella – a highly-regarded general counsel of a leading not-for-profit organization – has joined the firm as a Partner.

Centrella comes to Nichols Liu after years as in-house counsel for Mercy Corps, a global non-governmental, humanitarian aid organization that has assisted more than 220 million people improve their lives.  Centrella also serves as a Board Member for Humentum, where he shepherded the merger with InsideNGO, Lingos, and Mango.

“I have long been passionate about the complexities of International NGO work, and Nichols Liu’s dedication to this space provides an opportunity for me to bring the in-house, operational perspective to a broader client base,” said Centrella.

Mr. Centrella’s practice focuses on providing general counseling services to International NGOs, navigating overseas compliance issues, and helping organizations grow their work with USAID and other development organizations.
