FAR Class Deviation for FAR Part 1 in Support of Executive Order on Restoring Common Sense to Federal Procurement

We’re only at the beginning stages of the FAR 2.0 overhaul. Nevertheless, GSA has issued a memorandum approving a class deviation to FAR part 1. The memo directs GSA’s acquisition workforce to follow the “Revolutionary FAR Overhaul” (RFO) FAR part 1 model deviation text. The model deviation text provides a preview of FAR 2.0.
