Christina Kroll and Divya Taneja of Proskauer present a high-level overview of the five bills passed by the California legislature to amend the Calfornia Consumer Privacy Act, which await the Governor’s signature. In addition, they look at two proposed amendments that were placed in the “inactive” file without passage, and another bill awaiting the Governor’s signature, that would require data brokers to register with the Attorney General of California.
