Feldesman – The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has quietly removed the “DEI Certification” requirement for federal grants from its Grants Policy Statement (GPS) without providing any explanation for this decision. This represents a significant reversal, as HHS had only recently implemented this requirement in April, making it part of the grant application process for just four months.
