As part of the ongoing effort to modernize its federal award systems, GSA released modernized Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) Representations and Certifications (Reps & Certs) in SAM.gov on March 24, 2026. This effort supports the goals of decommissioning the outdated platforms, achieving cost savings, and aligning with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul. The update will also improve the user experience by eliminating redundancy and reducing administrative burden. The modernized Reps & Certs feature a new organization that improves readability and provides a more consistent user experience across the system.
