GSA seeks to deliver a modern, unified user experience for entities seeking to do business with, or already doing business with, the federal award community, while reducing costs for the government and taxpayers. In furtherance of this goal, GSA has announced that the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) capabilities will transition incrementally to SAM.gov to support a modernized procurement data system within SAM.gov.
