Federal News Network – A veteran-owned small business in the Northwest is waiting for the government to pay about $20 million in contract invoices. Not only are firms facing stop-work orders, reduced contract scopes, or terminations of convenience altogether, but many are waiting to be paid for invoices submitted on or before Sept. 30.
