Updates to State’s Allowances and Differential Rates

The State Department has issued updates to its allowances and differentials. A few highlights:

Cairo’s Danger Pay has been eliminated, but post differential has been increased given continued political violence and terrorism threats.
Danger Pay has been increased for “other” locations in Cameroon, DRC, Kenya and Nigeria.
Living Quarters Allowances (LQA) and Education “At Post” have been adjusted to reflect currency exchange rate changes.

State is also using gender-neutral pronoun
