USAID Contracting has Shut Down. There’s Still Little Evidence State is Taking Up the Slack.

USASpending.gov provides a list of contracts and grants that USAID has issued since January 20^th. It is a very short and depressing list. Just as worrying, it is still not accompanied by any evidence of an uptick in contracting activity at the Department of State.
