Dentons – The previously established U.S. Digital Service was renamed United States DOGE Service by Executive Order 14158, “Establishing and Implementing the President’s ‘Department of Government Efficiency’”. Although not an official federal department, last week, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia ruled that the USDS likely qualifies as a federal “agency” for purposes of the Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”).
