In a letter to the members of the House Appropriations Committee, Jim Jordan, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, states that there has been a “dangerous trend” of district court judges issuing nationwide injunctions that disrupt President Trump’s agenda. Jordan says the Judiciary has developed legislative reforms to address this issue. He asks the Appropriations Committee to consider language in upcoming funding bills that prohibits the use of taxpayer money to enforce nationwide injunctions.
