The Defense Department has officially entered into an agreement with the nonprofit corporation that will serve as the accreditation body for its Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program. Katie Arrington, chief information security officer for the department’s acquisition office, is spearheading the program, and was resolute that the government’s efforts to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic would not slow the progression of this program.
