SBA Loan Application Data Breach: What You Can Do

The Small Business Administration has revealed that around 8,000 small businesses who applied for the Economic Injury Disaster Loans program prior to March 25 had their potentially sensitive information exposed in a data leak. Rather than the work of a bad actor, this appears to have been a configuration error that permitted some applicants to view information submitted by previous applicants. There are a few steps you can take to minimize your exposure from the breach.
