Tom Howder, the deputy commissioner of the General Services Administration’s Federal Acquisition Service will provide a “view from 40,000 feet” on all of the GSA’s procurement-related programs; e.g., (1) multiple-award schedules, governmentwide acquisition contracts (GWACS), multi-agency contracts (MAC’s), and other major GSA procurement vehicles plus (2) other major GSA initiatives such as its travel and transportation, Global Supply, SmartPay, cybersecurity, and assisted-services programs. This program will largely replicate the presentation that is offered to new commissioners at the GSA.
