In 2023, the Department of Labor implemented the largest overhaul of the Davis-Bacon Act in over 40 years. For construction contractors employing laborers and mechanics in the construction industry, DOL’s changes will significantly affect how to determine prevailing wage rates, handle misclassifications, and expand the site of work, among other critical changes.
