In today’s competitive federal marketplace, bid protests are an inevitable feature of many procurements. Accordingly, success in government contracting requires a full understanding of the rules and regulations governing the protest process.  Moreover, you must avoid the most common bid protest mistakes that so many contractors make.

In this webinar, experienced government contracting attorney Maria Panichelli will guide you through the protest process and explain how to avoid the most common protest pitfalls.  Among other things, attendees will learn how to distinguish between pre-award and post-award protests and understand the differences in the rules governing each type of protest.

The webinar will cover how to properly identify and meet different protest deadlines, as well as how debriefings can impact such deadlines.  Attendees will also be taught how to determine whether a debriefing is required, what is and is not covered in a debriefing, and how to fully take advantage of the right to ask debriefing questions; the DoD enhanced debriefing rules will also be discussed.  Maria will explain what distinguishes a “winning” protest from one less worth pursuing by identifying what arguments are – and aren’t – likely to succeed.  Attendees will learn about the protest process from both the protestor, and the intervenor’s side.
